My mom sent me a link to Today's Christian Woman with some articles on traditions.
There are a bunch of great ideas so I thought I would post it.

Traditions during life changes:

I tried to post these as links, but it didn't work for some reason. If you copy and past the link it should work.
I know I got some great ideas for Cameron and I to start. I hope that everyone is able to find and start some great traditions. I will be sure to write about how they go.

Love living overseas, but....
I know my life calling is to live overseas. God has called my husband and I to do this. I know I would feel strange working in the states. It's kind of like the fish out of water feeling.
I just hate that I'm such a homebody! When the holidays come around - like now - I want to be home with my family. Unfortunately I don't own my own jet. That would be nice, but at the moment highly impractical not to mention totally insane! So I ask how do I overcome this need for nostalgia?
At this moment I feel like curling up under a blanket with my husband close and having a good cry. It just seems that would be the best solution. I know this wouldn't accomplish a whole lot, but it sure would feel good.
We are trying to solve this problem a little. Cameron and I have talked a little about making new traditions. I'm hoping we can come up with some fun traditions. I'm also hoping that we will be able to have a Christmas party at our apartment this year. I just discovered an awesome BBQ sauce recipe that makes a great pull apart chicken sandwich! It would be an ideal party food.
What other traditions would be fun? I would love ideas! If you have one - leave a comment or email me!
So...I'm trying to cheer up. I know it will pass and I will get used to this. Please for my sake - enjoy some great food this week! Maybe someday they will have overnight food delivery overseas! Bring on the turkey, stuffing and pie! And definitely have an awesome day shopping on Friday! I would be doing it over the internet, but we were idiots and didn't save money for early Christmas shopping! LOL
I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving! Be thankful! We have Christ! We have life because of Christ! We have family! We have love! And hey - we have technology - a huge blessing!
These things alone make me feel a whole lot better!

Dreams
This is hopefully going to be my thoughts on everything site. I'm always have deep thoughts and right now I'm looking for a digital recorder so that when I'm not able to write something down I can record it so I can eventually write it down.
A huge dream is to write articles for Christian magazines - God willing some day!
God has been growing me a lot lately! My mom recently reminded me that I should be writing everything that I go through down so that I can later look at my spiritual journey.
I hoping that having this site will help me and maybe even help other people who are going through some of the same things I have gone through in my life.
So here goes......
